Miguel Ángel Tamargo del Pozo is currently pursuing his PhD at the Autonomous University of Madrid under the supervision of Dr. Laura Arce Álvarez since 2022.
He graduated in English Studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid and currently holds an Master’s degree from the same institution in Literary and Cultural Studies of English-Speaking Countries. Miguel Ángel has also worked as a Teacher Assistant in Tufts University (2018-2019). His research areas are centered around the relationship between geographical space and contemporary queer literature, analyzing the “map” as both a metaphor and tool to understand how queer people move around maps of their own in contrast or in conflict with those given by society.
